January 2013 Meeting

Pictured above is Mr. Charlie Hunsicker who heads up the
Manatee County Natural Resources Department.  Mr. Hunsicker
was the EMRC's guest speaker at our meeting held on January
10, 2013, at the Peridia Golf & CC.  His department is responsible
for conservation, restoration, resource management, education, and
volunteerism.  Information regarding the addition of 150 acres of 
new land at Robinson Preserve and the acquisition of funds 
resulting from the 2010 BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill was provided to
club members and guests.
